About the position

Do you have an affinity for plants and cultivation processes, and do you want to work in a growing horticultural company where quality and teamwork are central?
For a modern nursery in Woubrugge, we are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible employee who can take the lead in the production process.

In this supervisory role, you will oversee the work floor, guide colleagues, and actively participate in cultivation and order processing.
An ideal position for someone who wants to develop into a cultivation specialist or manager within a close-knit family business.

What will you do?

  • As a hands-on supervisor, ensure that the production process runs smoothly, from cultivation to shipping.
  • Work closely with a small, motivated team of permanent and seasonal employees.
  • Lead the production team and monitor progress on the work floor.
  • Process daily orders and check order fulfillment.
  • Ensure plants are ready for transport.
  • Assist with potting, spacing, and caring for plants.
  • Check the quality and growth of various crops.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in cultivation, purchasing, customer service, and logistics.
  • Report to the manager and contribute to improvements in the production process.

Who are you?

  • You speak Dutch well and can manage in English.
  • Preferably, you have supervisory experience in horticulture.
  • You have basic knowledge of cultivation processes.
  • You are enthusiastic about learning more about growing special garden plants.
  • Preferably, you have a pesticide license or are willing to obtain one.
  • You are practical, communicative, and enjoy teamwork.
  • You have a proactive and responsible attitude.

  • A gross salary between €3,000 and €3,500 per month, depending on experience (based on 40 hours).

About our client

Our client is a family business in Woubrugge specializing in growing various garden and bedding plants, including Thunbergia, Jasmine, Viola, and Petunia.
The company has 2 hectares of greenhouses and 1 hectare of outdoor cultivation, where care and craftsmanship are applied to produce healthy, strong plants.

The team consists of 4 permanent employees and about 10 seasonal workers who together ensure an efficient and high-quality production process.
A personal and collegial work atmosphere prevails, with plenty of room for initiative and personal development.
