About the position
Are you an experienced technical leader with a passion for innovation and process optimization?
In this key role, you will ensure a strategic approach to maintenance, improvement projects, and technical innovations.
As Manager Engineering & Technical Support, you will work closely with the Manager Operations and have a direct link to the Managing Director for innovation projects.
You will lead a team consisting of the Maintenance Team Leader and Service Team Leader, playing a crucial role in implementing technical improvements within the organization.
What will you do?
- Develop and monitor maintenance and improvement plans to ensure continuity and reliability of the machinery
- Assess and implement maintenance strategies (TPM, VDM) and manage contracts with external parties
- Develop and implement technical solutions for production processes and new products
- Promote a service-oriented culture within the department and ensure compliance with agreements
- Analyze KPIs and drive continuous improvements in maintenance and technical support
- Lead engineering projects and participate in improvement teams focused on productivity and quality enhancements
- Procure and manage technical goods and services, optimizing spaces, installations, and machinery
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations regarding safety, occupational health, hygiene, and environment
- Coach, motivate, and develop employees within your team
- Prepare training and development plans to strengthen team talents
Who are you?
- At least a HBO degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical field
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in maintenance or engineering within an industrial environment
- In-depth knowledge of maintenance strategies (TPM, VDM, or similar methodologies)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and achieve results
- A strategic and innovative mindset, combined with problem-solving ability
- Decisive, communicative, and collaboration-oriented
- High sense of responsibility for continuity, efficiency, and safety
