Vacancy Senior Civil Engineer

About the position

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you are responsible for performing conceptual designs, FEED, studies, and detailed analyses in accordance with the design basis, project specifications, and international standards.
In this role, you combine technical expertise with the ability to apply knowledge to both standard and non-standard situations.

You deliver accurate design calculations, technical reports, and procedures, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
Clear communication and the ability to explain complex technical issues in an understandable way are essential in this role.

What will you do?

• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support projects at various locations
• Coordinate with other technical departments for input and integration
• Perform technical checks and peer reviews on designs and drawings
• Carry out design verifications and interdisciplinary checks (IDC)
• Develop material take-offs (MTOs), specifications, and subcontractor documentation
• Review vendor data and prepare technical bid evaluations
• Ensure designs comply with operational, construction, and maintenance standards
• Perform advanced structural analyses, including foundations and complex structures
• Prepare layouts, design reports, and specialized tasks (such as architectural or underground pipeline designs)
• Apply expertise in geotechnics, steel and concrete structures, FEM, fatigue analysis, and seismic design
• Ensure compliance with design codes such as EC, ACI, AISC, API
• Coordinate and validate the work of engineers and designers across disciplines
• Contribute to the development of project engineering guides

Who are you?

• You have 8–15 years of experience in detailed design within the oil and gas sector
• You have strong knowledge of international technical standards and specifications
• Experience with steel fabrication projects is a plus
• You are proficient in engineering software and analysis tools
• You can work independently with minimal supervision
• You communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken
• You have extensive knowledge of HSE, quality, and cost-efficiency principles
• You demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and mentorship skills
• You are flexible, team-oriented, and willing to support colleagues during high workload periods or temporary relocation
• You have a proactive attitude and strive for continuous improvement and knowledge development
