Vacancy Team Leader Packing Line (Fruit Packaging)

About the Role

Do you have experience in production and are you ready to take the next step as a team leader?
We are looking for a Team Leader for the packing line at a modern fruit packaging company. You will be responsible for coordinating the daily packaging process.

You ensure that the assembly line runs smoothly, safely, and according to quality standards.
As a true people manager, you motivate your team and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

As a team leader, you are the link between the production staff and the supervisor.
You are active on the floor daily and ensure that all processes are well-coordinated.

• Coordinate the work on the packing line
• Assign tasks and guide packers
• Check product quality, pace, and safety
• Record production data and report to the supervisor
• Maintain order, cleanliness, and compliance with hygiene rules
• Resolve minor issues or bottlenecks in the process
• Train and motivate new employees
• Work closely with the logistics department
• Work in day shifts or rotating shifts, depending on the season and production schedule

Requirements

• Experience in production or packaging, preferably with fruits or vegetables
• Leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
• Strong communication skills; Dutch or English proficiency
• Accurate, organized, and stress-resistant
• Attention to quality and safety
• Flexible and willing to support extra during busy periods
• Experience with HACCP or food safety is a plus
