About the position

To expand our Production Team, we are looking for a Production Team Leader.
In this role, you are the driving force behind a successful production team.
You know how to inspire and motivate your team to work together to achieve optimal results and a high-quality end product.

What will you do?

• You are responsible for realizing the production plan for the production lines assigned to you.
• You ensure the safe and efficient use of resources and employees, aiming for a high-quality product.
• You identify and respond appropriately to problems, bottlenecks, and disruptions in the production process.
• You analyze improvement opportunities within the department and work on reducing labor hours, give-away, and yield.
• You ensure the optimal execution of administrative tasks.
• You prepare staff schedules and monitor the staffing of your team.
• You lead the teams and employees within your department.

Who are you?

• HBO (higher professional) working and thinking level.
• Experience in the fresh products industry.
• Insight into and/or experience with improvement techniques (continuous improvement, lean).
• Affinity with meat products.
• First aid (EHBO/BHV) certification is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate people.
• Good command of Dutch and English.
